Camp
Explorer Summer Camp started in 2015 when I was approached by a group of mothers who wanted their children to participate in outside activities for the summer. The camp operated out of the carport of one of the participant's home in Clayton. With access to a park nearby there was plenty of space for activities. Which then expanded to include hikes, boat rides, and other adventures culminating with an overnight campout.
Due to different job commitments I haven't focused on summer camps in Panama. However, in January/February of '23 I collaborated with Biocultural Learning where we had a week long holiday camp and a couple of weeks of summer camp!
